Couples seeking charm and comfort

The place was charming! We were welcomed with a chilled champagne upon arrival, it was nice touch. The evening social hour was great, we met interesting people, shared stories and enjoyed some nice snacks.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable.

Would recommend for taking strolls

Charming room, delightful breakfast, with beautifully decorated furnishings and a peaceful outside area perfect for relaxing by the water while being conveniently walkable to downtown sights.

where to begin? the door locks are so poorly designed, i almost needed a first-aid kit after cutting my finger. oh, and the view from my queen room balcony was just delightful—if i wanted to look at the street! i was expecting a complimentary bottle of water or something for my trouble, but no such luck. honestly, i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Great place with free wi-fi, air conditioning, and a snack bar. On my first stay, the staff provided great currency recommendations. The sunset views are lovely. I can't wait to return for a weekend!

The Queen Room with Balcony was lovely, while the tricky door lock was troublesome.

but the shower pressure could be better. the afternoon refreshments included an excellent malbec, and the soft sheets felt like a dream. the outdoor porch overlooking the water was an absolute highlight of our stay.

I recently enjoyed a good stay at Cuthbert House, immersing myself in its storied history. The artwork in the Eastlake Suite captivated me, with intricate details hinting at its Civil War past. Breakfast featured a scrumptious variety, especially the made-to-order egg specialties. My only hiccup was managing the tricky door lock.

Now, if only my room had a better view than the street—could've used a good giggle about that one! And those door locks? A minor injury waiting to happen, darling!

Relaxing on the outdoor seating areas with views of the bay was a highlight, and the happy hour with drinks and snacks created a friendly vibe.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend break in Beaufort with outstanding value. Enjoyed complimentary appetizers and wine on the porch during the evening. Make sure to take a short walk into town for some great sights.
